• Participants must be 12 years and over.

• Maximum rider weight: 120kg.  Please contact us if you’re over this limit to discuss options.

• A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for guests
  under 18 years.

• You must be able to step on and off the Segway
  unassisted - similar to climbing stairs without a handrail.  Segway riding is not recommended for those with certain mobility
  issues or medical conditions, including pregnancy.  Please contact us if you’re unsure—we’re happy to help.

• No alcohol before or during the tour. Guests suspected of alcohol use will be unable to participate, and no
  refund will be issued.

• Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times.  Safety first—ride with peace of mind.

• Closed-toe shoes are required - No thongs, sandals, flip-flops or high heels, please.

• Please be mindful of other riders, pedestrians, bikes,
  cars, and road signs.  A safe ride is a fun ride.  Please
  respect other tour guests..

• Tours operate in light rain - bring a raincoat! It's a
  blast in the rain!, In severe weather, tours may be rescheduled or refunded at our
  discretion.

After 30 minutes of fun training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the Gold Coast by Segway with a friendly tour guide. 

Segway Tour Rider Requirements

Minimum Age: 12 years and over. Due to the nature of our off-road segway adventure, we do require all guests to be over the age of 12 to participate.

Recommended over 45 kg and under 120 kg  ***please contact us prior to booking if a guest does not meet the recommended weight range to discuss tour options.

Not recommended for guests with some mobility or motor control issues. Guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.

Kangaroo Segway Tours has a strict policy against alcohol consumption and Segway operation. Alcohol is forbidden on all Segway tours and any guests suspected of drinking before or during a Segway tour will immediately forfeit their tour and no refund will be given.

No thongs, flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels. All guests must wear closed shoes (as comfortable as possible).

Sign guest liability waiver.

Respect the flora and fauna, other tour guests, road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride.
